Bonnaroo ’10 — The Journey Begins

And so it begins.  Our journey to Bonnaroo is mere hours away; a summertime tradition unlike any other.  Music, art, mud, and more music and mud.  When I first went to Bonnaroo back in 2004, I thought it would be something cool to do maybe once. Six years later, and I’m back again.  If you’ve never been in the middle of a 200-acre field miles from civilization with limited cell coverage (or showers), it really is something to experience.  That’s just a small piece of the charm-aroo that is Bonnaroo.  Oh yeah, and the festival is a collection of the best bands on Earth and has become the premiere musical event in the U.S.

So here we are, about to depart for Manchester, TN.  Laura Duncan and I will broadcast live from the Bonnaroo backstage studios Friday and Saturday afternoon, complete with artist interviews, live performances and up-to-the-minute reports on the goings-on from the ‘Roo.  We’re also turning the WTTS Blog into the Blogaroo (clever, huh?) – follow along for exclusive photos, interviews and fun content to keep you connected. Brad Holtz (6/9/10)
