WTTS In Conversation – Todd Snider

WTTS In Conversation’ is a bi-weekly podcast delivering decades of WTTS interviews with music legends and emerging artists.

For Episode #31, Todd Snider talks with morning host Matt Pelsor about his unique philosophies on life and music, and what audiences wanted from the first shows after the worst of the pandemic. He also talked about the movie Hard Luck Love Song, inspired by his song Just Like Old Times; and his poignant remembrance of John Prine after his death, and how it inspired the way he performs now.

Being sick and tired of all the concert rules, Todd Snider created his alter ego Elmo Buzz and his backing band Eastside Bulldogs several years ago. This gave him the freedom to play more concerts at home, but now Todd is slapping his real name in front of the band. The lead single from the album, “Ways And Means” was improvised during a pair of live recording sessions at a Nashville-area music academy. Just like during his live performances, Todd confidently rambles his way through the song until it’s over. Download “Ways And Means” off Eastside Bulldog and learn more about Todd Snider at his Official Website, “Like” him on Facebook and follow him on Twitter.
