The husband wife duo Shovels & Rope is back with their fifth studio release Little Seeds October 7th. Recorded in their South Carolina home studio, Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent wrote all the songs and played every instrument. The majority of the albums lyrics were cultivated from the duo’s own experiences and observations, addressing topics of over-medication of children, Alzheimer’s disease and racial unity.
