On Air Weekdays 6-10am

Every morning at 7:30, Paul and Todd play the MORNING MUSIC MINDBENDER. Answer the music-related question, and win prizes from 'TTS. Even if you can't solve the Mindbender, you're sure to sharpen your musical knowledge each weekday morning.

Where are you from:
Indiana. Graduated from Carmel High and Ball State

My Favorite Bands:

You might catch me throwing in a little extra Steely Dan or Donald Fagen once in awhile and there's nothing better than heading to the lake with John Fogerty's new compilation but I'm probably more of a song guy than an artist guy. I enjoy doing what I can to support local bands or bands with local connections (check out that Marah CD if you haven't already).

My Interests:

Camping, waterskiing, bicycling, tennis and I'm actually trying to learn to play golf. My instructor keeps having me hit buckets of balls, work on the swing, stance and all that and I need to ACTUALLY PLAY THE GAME soon. And although I like all the things I just mentioned they make me sound a little more active than I actually really am. I am more likely found on a winter night with a fire, a brew and a Seinfeld rerun on the tube. If something comes on TV it will suck me in which is why my wife makes me sit facing away from the TV at a bar.

in May '06. A very thrilling experience for a non-thrill

seeker.

Being on TTS:

I've lived around here all my life and I use to listen to WTTS even when I worked at other stations so this is a great trip for me. It's a fun laid back place and carries a certain ambience that makes it a joy to come to work even at the unholy hour I arrive. I have had two deer accidents on my way in so I have developed a keen eye for the side of the road. It also seems a lot of snowstorms get going full boar around 4a.m. Hence I am quite sure this hour belongs to nature and the elements and man is not intended to be part of this early world.

The worst things about my coworkers:

Brad tends to describe work related tasks that aren't really fun as "fun" and the more he uses "fun" the less "fun" I know its going to be. But he does buy us a lot of beer. Laura already knows everything new I can think of to tell her and Todd has this big hang up about integrity. So what if Chris Squire wasn't in YES when they recorded Roundabout. Picky picky. Bill reminds me a lot of Dr. Dimento but I don't think that's really a bad thing.

A Shameless Plug:

Its not about sausage this time...I tell people I support my radio habit with real estate which I was doing before I got here and continue to do in the afternoons. So if you need any real estate help...(did I mention I have 5 kids?).

Five Favorite Albums:
God Shuffled His Feet - Crash Test Dummies
Aja - Steely Dan
All That You Can't Leave Behind - U2
In Light Syrup - Toad The Wet Sprocket
The Long Road Home-John Fogerty

Most memorable concerts:
War & Tower of Power - 1973
Tom Petty at Deer Creek/Verizon - multiple years
Bonnie Raitt at the Murat, 2002
Coldplay at Verizon Wireless Music Center 2005
Donald Fagan at the Chicago Theater 2006

Favorite Authors:
James Alexander Thom

Favorite movies:
Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
Caddyshack
Fargo
