Thanks for listening to World Class Rock A To Z on 92-3 WTTS, presented by Miller Lite. WTTS has been presenting "A To Z" for years, and this year's was the longest ever. We received an e-mail from Roger, a 92-3 VIP from Indianapolis, who mentioned "I thought it would be interesting if you could also include other random facts from A-Z." Good idea. So here are some fun facts about this year's rendition of World Class Rock A To Z on 92-3 WTTS:
- How many songs? Over 2,300 different songs were played
- The artist with the most songs? The Beatles. John Mellencamp and The Rolling Stones were a close second.
- The first song was "A" by Barenaked Ladies. The last was "Zombie Zoo" by Tom Petty.
- The oldest song? "Hound Dog" by Elvis Presley (1956).
- The newest song? "Supernatural Superserious" by R.E.M. (18 days old).
- The letter with the most songs? "W." "T," "S," and "I" also had quite a few songs.
- Was there an "X" song? Yes. "X Marks The Spot" by Ziggy Marley. Although Brad Holtz played about twenty seconds of "Xanadu" as a joke, we won't officially count that.
- Popular words to lead off song titles? All (28 songs), Don't (26), Good (12), I (55), It's (12), Love (25), My (18), One (21), Rock (10), She or She's (24), You (28).
- Most popular superhero in song titles? Superman, with songs from R.E.M., Five For Fighting, Big Head Todd & The Monsters and Eric Clapton. (Although 92-3 VIP Shelly Griffin pointed out two other "Superman-related" songs - "Kryptonite" from Three Doors Down and "Jimmy Olsen Blues" by Spin Doctors).
- Popular titles for songs - Learning To Fly (Tom Petty, Foo Fighters and Pink Floyd) and "Drive" (R.E.M., The Cars and Incubus).
A To Z Reaction from WTTS listeners:

I had a blast listening to A to Z this year. Streaming through the Internet? Great idea! I'm a librarian, and it was fun to put on my headphones and listen at work.
The songs were in alphabetical order--that's work-related, right??
-Sara, Nashville, IN
- It's turned out to be more fun than I expected listening to A-Z. Hearing songs from days gone by is a memory blast from the past!!! (some good, some not so good, some I can't remember - haha!!! -- hey it was the 70's and 80's!!!) It always cracks me up because I know you're a lot younger than me, so you weren't experiencing these songs in those eras, but you know how to play 'em! -Jane
- Can you just start A to Z over as soon as it ends? PLEASE!!
-Colleen
- Thank you! I love it more with each year. And right now I'm listening to John Butler Trio's "What You Want".......awesome! Only WTTS has this much variety of songs you dont normally get to hear on the radio!
-Mary
-Priscilla, Indianapolis
- I wish there were more letters in the alphabet because I'm going to be very sad when A-Z is over! It's like an IPOD with a very good selection on shuffle.

I'm simply compelled to let you know how much I'm enjoying this round of "World Class Rock A to Z"! I absolutely don't dare change my station from WTTS this time around - I'm scared to death I'm going to miss a great tune in the rundown! Just yesterday, I was deliriously happy to hear Psychedelic Furs and The Cure on my way to work, Gem's "Maybe I'm Amazed" cover at lunch and, on the way home, I almost wrecked my car when "Moving in Stereo" (my all-time favorite Cars' tune) played on my drive home. Your great selections certainly put me in the best possible frame of mind to start and end my day!
As someone who started in the advertising/media buying business over twenty years ago (ouch!), I really appreciate a high quality station that treats it's listeners with respect and dares to be different!

- Just a quick note to express my LOVE for A to Z. I listen to it on the cold drive in, online in my office all day, and on the crowded drive back home. And, it makes all the monotony of life so much easier to handle. So, thanks and keep up the good work!

- A to Z is one of my favorite times! I can't imagine the time and effort it takes to make this happen but you do an incredible job! Once again another outstanding A to Z so far!
-Becky
- This is the best listening on radio that I have ever heard. I get so many ideas for my at-home playlists. I download my favorites from the web and then upload to my house system that has music piped into all rooms. I have a play list for each season. You guys are priceless.
-Steven
- I took vacation day today to kick off the start of A-Z. I have the house covered while I do some chores around here. Got the stereo on in my concert hall living room and the boom box in the basement and the radio in the garage. Looking forward to the next couple of weeks. You guys do a great job.
